Happy New Year!

In honor of the approach of January 1st, we've had our first snow in Beijing. The streets city looks great while the snow is still white and it is exciting to see how all of the new Beijing drivers deal with the road conditions.

Snow??? What is that? You'd think living in Michigan, I'd get tons of snow. Apparently, I'm too far East in the state :(

Anyway, Happy New Year and enjoy the snow!

Yea, we haven't even gotten any yet either!! isn't there some sort of natural law that says north east america must get snow before any other part of the globe? (well bar Siberia, I think they have a caviat of some sort)

We hadn't had any new snow for over a month until last Saturday, almost 30cm overnight!!! I almost cried.

On the flip side, it's supposed to reach +3C today... who says the climate isn't changing?

P.S. Did you guys ever work out what kind of tofu that was?
